now in its third year in business, phresh organic catering is a full-service catering company
deeply rooted in the ideas of sustainability.  the focus of phresh is to create an exceptional
and memorable culinary experience that does not compromise what I see as our
responsibility to the stewardship of the environment and community.

phresh takes pride in supporting local agriculture and purchases farm direct whenever
possible. using these products at their peak and cooking them with respect to technique
and creativity is a wondrous way to practice environmental sustainability. sound culinary
practices are only one of the actions phresh takes to uphold its “green” commitment.

sustainable business practices are also important.  phresh works closely with the oregon
agricultural business council, makes environmentally responsible purchases from local
companies (including non plastic compostable service ware), is committed to recycling
and has begun a food compost program.

phresh organic catering understands the importance of a strong community and enjoys
donating to many non profit causes such as the children’s relief nursery, casa, the portland
french school, and new space gallery.

phresh also has close ties to the oregon wine country and is pleased to have partnered
with cooper mountain vineyards (an organic and biodynamic winery), the carlton
winemaker's studio and stoller vineyards (both leed certified facilities).

while working as a professional chef in portland during the past decade, I have developed
business relationships with many local purveyors, winemaker's, and farmers who share
my dedication to these sustainable ideas.
